The first spark
Started by a group of college friends after seeing food wastage and hunger. The first effort focused on collecting excess food and reaching people who needed immediate support.
Our journey
Kajwa began with a simple realization about food waste and hunger. That small step became a wider commitment to education, dignity, livelihood, culture, and sustainable community development.
How it started
In 2013, a group of college friends saw excess food being wasted while people nearby were struggling for a meal. That moment created a strong belief: service does not always begin with big resources; it begins with awareness, responsibility, and action.
Timeline
Every stage of Kajwa’s journey has added a new responsibility and a deeper connection with people.
Started by a group of college friends after seeing food wastage and hunger. The first effort focused on collecting excess food and reaching people who needed immediate support.
The team began regularly collecting surplus food and distributing it to needy people living on footpaths and in vulnerable conditions.
As community trust grew, Kajwa expanded into education, women empowerment, employment support, health awareness, environmental activities, and cultural conservation.
Founder Mr. Pravin took the initiative to legally register Kajwa Bahuddeshiy Sanstha, giving the mission a stronger foundation and wider capacity to serve.
Kajwa continues social service with dedication, growing community support, and a focus on tribal and rural communities.
Every act of support is guided by respect for the person, not only by the need of the moment.
Programs are shaped around local realities, rural needs, tribal communities, and shared participation.
Kajwa works to move from immediate help toward education, opportunity, empowerment, and long-term growth.
