Kajwa Bahuddeshiy Sanstha

Kajwa Bahuddeshiy Sanstha is a dedicated social organization committed to bringing positive and sustainable change in society through various developmental and welfare initiatives. Our name “Kajwa” means firefly. It reflects our belief that just like a small firefly lights up the darkness of the night, even a small effort can remove darkness from society.

Our journey began in 2013 with a simple yet powerful realization. One day, we noticed that a large amount of food from a wedding was being wasted because fewer people attended. At the same time, many people on the streets were struggling to find even a single meal. This moment deeply impacted us and inspired a strong decision: no food should go to waste while people are hungry.

With this thought, a group of college friends came together and started collecting excess food and distributing it to people living on footpaths. What began as a small effort gradually turned into a continuous mission of social service.

Over time, our work expanded into areas such as women empowerment, employment generation, education, health awareness, and environmental conservation, with a special focus on tribal and rural communities. We are also committed to preserving and promoting cultural heritage and traditions.

With growing support and dedication, our efforts were formally recognized in 2021 when our founder, Mr. Pravin, took the initiative to legally register Kajwa Bahuddeshiy Sanstha. Since then, we have continued to serve society with greater strength and commitment.
